Project information
Cities rarely allow a building to stand alone. Surrounded by neighbouring structures, traffic, signs and the visual density of urban life, architecture inevitably becomes part of a larger context.
SINGULARITY temporarily suspends that context. Each building is given space, silence and its own horizon. Set against an open, subtly graduated sky, it appears like a sculpture on a pedestal: detached from scale and surroundings, yet entirely present.
The series is not about the technical process of removing distractions. It is about creating a concentrated encounter with architecture. Form, rhythm, colour, proportion and character come to the foreground. Differences between decades, cultures and architectural ideas become visible without competing for attention.
Photographed in cities around the world, the buildings in SINGULARITY are treated not merely as structures, but as individual personalities—each occupying a space of its own.
