Friday the 13th turned out to be a very good day: my work received two Gold and eight Silver awards at the 2024 New York Photography Awards.
The awarded photographs span very different fields—from still life and independent artistic work to commercial automotive photography. Two images were honoured in two categories each.
Awards are never the reason to make a photograph, but they are a welcome sign that a visual idea can travel beyond its original context. Thank you to the jury—and congratulations to all the other winners.
