Two teams. Two edits. One set of photographs.
Today’s first BFF PING-PONG turned photo editing into a team sport. Working with the same photographs on opposite sides of a table tennis net, two teams selected images, tried out sequences and debated what should stay—and what should go.
Then came the exchange: both teams presented their edits and explained their choices. It was a chance to see how selection and sequence can shape different stories from the same material.
It was so much fun—and what pleasantly surprised me most was how wholeheartedly everyone threw themselves into it. The teams really gave it their all, bringing energy, care and conviction to every discussion.
Even with a bunch of my “Cayman Desert Grain” pictures. Always great to see what other creative minds do with your material…

The BFF (Berufsverband freie Fotografen und Filmgestalter e.V.) is the German association for professional photographers.
